AlignmentQuest PlusTM is an advanced version of AlignmentQuestTM . With it, the user is able to perform shaft alignments on vertical machines and multi-machine trains. Initially, the software permits the user to map the machine train to determine the most appropriate alignment movements. Once a particular approach has been selected, the software guides the user through all of the necessary steps to put the entire train into alignment. Machine definition, measurement
data, and alignment steps with time/date for all equipment in the plant can be archived and retrieved as needed. The user can specify coupling offset to align Universal (Cardon) Joint machinery. The software calculates and compensates for thermal growth based on user specified machine geometry and thermal profile. Custom reports can easily be generated for the entire operation. Also, data can be exported for further reduction and analysis.
Measurement data and results can be output to a standard PC printer for permanent records. The only system requirement is "MS Windows 9X."
Dynamic Adjustment
By selecting Horizontal Adjustments the software gives the dial readings at the horizontal direction. Next the software shows the targets for the readings when alignment is attained from horizontal adjustments
