Shaft Alignment Trainer Options

ADJUSTABLE MODULE
This module is fully adjustable. It has replaceable feet, horizontal jack bolts, reference dials, and the shaft can be offset, locked, axially floated, and rotation limited. The module includes a set of two bearings.

FIXED MODULE

This module uses the same base-mounting pattern as the fully adjustable module, but does not have feet, jack bolts, and dials. The shaft can be offset and axially floated. It is used to simulate a fixed machine. The module includes a set of two bearings.

STANDARD FOOT KIT

This kit provides 4 additional feet with varying lengths

SPRUNG FOOT KIT

This kit provides 2 additional sprung feet.

STANDARD BASE
This base is 28" long permitting ample space to assemble one fixed and one adjustable module to simulate a simple linear machine train.

EXTENDED LENGTH BASE
This base is 48" long permitting ample space to assemble a three component linear machine train.

RIGHT ANGLE MODULE
This module is a simple right angle gearbox mounted on a pedestal to simulate a right angle machine train. Although it can be shimmed vertically, it is basically non-adjustable. It must be used with an additional base to complete the right angle configuration. Hardware to join the additional base is included.

BASE EXTENSION PLATE
This plate is designed to join two bases.

STANDARD LENGTH SHAFT
This shaft is black oxide treated carbon steel (1" x 14 ¾" lg.) with a ¼" x 1/8" keyway on one end.

EXTENDED LENGTH SHAFT
Longer shafts are available on a custom basis. Please specify overall length.

ALIGNMENT TOOL KIT
This kit features a reverse indicator alignment system designed to accommodate the ½" to 1 ¼" diameter shafts provided on the Spectra Quest simulators and trainers. Use of the kit allows convenient, simple, and precision shaft alignment. Each kit consists of two precision dial indicators, two mounting brackets/bars, one mirror, one set of feeler gauges, Windows 95 alignment software, and instructions packaged in a rugged plastic case.

SHAFT COUPLING KIT
This kit provides the user with a variety of coupling types for learning proper installation procedures and any effects on alignment. Each kit consists of one gear, one helical beam, one rubber, and one rigid coupling.
