Project Management
Good organization is critical to logical
problem solving. It is important to document a project in detail. If
not done, there is
a tendency to lose information, repeat previous efforts, and misinterpret
results. VibraQuest has been developed with scientific testing
in mind and configured to encourage you through a step-by-step setup
procedure to approach every project or test in an organized and thorough
manner.
- All the test projects including
the measurement template and analysis functions are organized
in a central control panel
where you
can
perform data acquisition and analyze any data file in depth
- Using navigator to manage projects,
data acquisition, data files, analysis functions, and reports
- Add, delete, or update projects
- Create and edit data acquisition
templates
- The administrator manages the transducer database
and a user’s settings including user's ID, password and work
path
- Each user has his/her own work space to setup measurement
projects and save data as well as reports
|

User can manage projects, data
files, and initiate data acquisition or analysis on the Navigator

Experimental Design
Each project in VibraQuest has a measurement
template for experimental design, which can be easily accessed, customized
and updated
for data acquisition.
- Easy-to-use interactive wizards guide you through
measurement templates
to define channels, transducers, test variables, and
data acquisition parameters
- All the measurement templates
can be repeatedly used by simple mouse click which will directly
bring you to the data acquisition
panel
- You also can customize a template step by step to
modify the measurement parameters
- 30+ built-in templates for different experiments on
structural dynamics and rotating machinery studies
- The measurement templates organize tests, assures
consistency, save your time, and eliminate errors

Report Generation
VibraQuest provides a built-in feature
to create customized reports and export them to various programs,
such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and HTML format. The reports can
be created simultaneously while analyzing the data to save time
and maintain the continuity of the analysis. Reports can be saved
for future reference. This feature is available for all the modules
of VibraQuest.
- Provides a familiar, Windows Explorer-like environment
to organize data, graphs, test setup, etc.
- Create report while doing analysis
- Simple wizards for automatic report generation
- You can create customized reports and export them
to various formats, such as Word, Excel, and HTML
- Review, print or export report to MS Word for
further editing
- Capabilities for browsing, viewing, copying,
and pasting data to ActiveX applications
|

Choose any graph in the analysis function, or the whole front panel and send
them to active report. User can arrange the layout and customize the font.

Data Exportation
Data can be exported to other file types, including
Excel, and ME'scope for modal analysis. The exported Excel file
contains all the data acquisition information and data
sets. ME'scope has been specifically designed to make it easy
for the
user to
observe and analyze a variety of vibration, acoustics,
and strength of materials problems in machines and structures. It
utilizes multi-channel time or frequency domain experimental
data, acquired
during the operation of a machine, or the static or dynamic loading
of a structure.

An exported data file viewed in MS Excel. Since
it is an ASCII spreadsheet file, user can use it in other applications
such as
MatLab, Maple etc.
