VibraQuest -> Induction Motor Fault Diagnosis (MCSA)

In many applications, it is important to collect data for long periods of time. Data Streaming Module for VibraQuest allows you to capture, view and store long-duration and high-speed multi-channel data acquisition simultaneously. You also can use play-back panel to post-analyze the data to determine with all the analysis functions and parameters which are available for steady-state data analysis.

Features
  • High-speed multi-channel data streaming to hard disk
  • Record long records of gap-free data for future in-depth analysis
  • Indication of disk volume and maximum recording time
  • Turn on/off display while recording
  • Choice of buffer drive
  • Play back any gap-free data
  • Control of display length and data block size
  • Playback buttons include: back to beginning, fast rewind, last block, next block, fast forward, forward to the end.
  • User can drag cursors to any position to get the data segment for analysis
  • Convenient tool to view the overall characteristics of data
  • Unique playback functions allow flexible data view

Data streaming panel allows user to record data at specified time range, limited only to disk volume.

Data streaming panel allows user to play back streamed data

Data Streaming Playback - Spectrum

  • Choose any channel, any section of the data and perform FFT related calculation
  • Amplitude spectrum, FRF, or Coherence
  • While displaying amplitude spectrum, user can convert among acceleration, velocity or displacement
  • Data can be averaged using vector averaging, RMS or peak hold methods

The data was acquired during a start up test. Two Channels are selected to plot amplitude spectra.

Data Streaming Playback - Orbit Plot

  • Plotted from two sensors. One is in vertical direction, another is in horizontal direction
  • Displays the movement of the shaft
  • Multi-select the cycles and drag the cursor to see changes with time
  • Filtered or unfiltered display

Orbit plot shows the movement of the machine shaft during a start up test on Machinery Fault Simulator Lite
